The Bird of Paradise displays beautiful foliage and can grow up to 30' tall in their native regions of South America. As an indoor plant, you can expect it to grow up to 6' tall.
Though the large leaves are marvelous on their own, this mature plant can produce stunning flowers that resemble a bird which are often colored white or orange.
Often times, this plant will develop splits along the leaves, have no fear, this is the plants natural way of adapting to strong winds in the wild. It enjoys full sun, high humidity, and drying out between waterings. It is an excellent statement piece in any room!
